Our son did not want to go to school, was down on himself, and thought he was “stupid.” Our lives changed when we found “Miss Denise.” Logan is reading on grade level, and learning cursive writing, and our house is much calmer!
THE RWC APPROACH
At RWC, I work with a “village” approach to increase your student’s confidence while strengthening the necessary foundation to become a lifelong reader. Whether their struggles are reading, spelling, writing, comprehension, language processing or executive functioning deficits, my holistic process begins with an extensive intake allowing me to create an in-depth reading evaluation tailor-made to each of your child’s specific needs.
Each program I create is research-based, data-driven and designed to tackle deficits while building on your student’s strengths. My Orton Gillingham based approach is designed to build and strengthen a student’s foundation as a springboard to build success and confidence.
Full Reading Evaluation
The Full Reading Evaluation provides comprehensive testing, review of previous testing information, an extended conference with the evaluator, and a written report of the evaluation. You will receive a written report that is a valuable tool to use when working with schools or employers for seeking accommodations or extra support. Families also find it valuable for future referencing and documentation. Individual testing is administered prior to instruction.

TESTIMONIALS
Beckett P.
Our son’s newfound confidence in reading and writing has opened doors to a brighter future, and we have you to thank for that.
Ryan W.
When our son started working with Mrs.Klein, he struggled with reading, and his confidence was at an all-time low. As parents, it was heartbreaking to see him struggle and feel frustrated with something as fundamental as reading. Your unwavering support, patience and compassion have made an incredible difference in his life.
Kaylah F.
What's most impressive is your igniting our child's love for reading. Kaylah's reading skills have significantly improved, and her confidence has soared. She no longer shies away from challenges and believes in herself. You are not just a reading teacher; you are a mentor, a guide, and a source of inspiration.
